New TECH Foundation Legacy Wall Unveiled

The TECH (Training and Evaluation Center of Hutchinson) Foundation unveiled its new Legacy Wall on Thursday evening at the TECH Art Gallery and Administrative Offices. The Wall honors donors that have achieved $5,000 or more in lifetime giving to the TECH Foundation.

"Today is a monumental day for TECH and the TECH Foundation. We are thrilled to honor those who see the value of TECH’s mission and have committed to securing our future and the future of those we serve," said Brenda Maxey, President/CEO of TECH. "We couldn't have made this happen without the generous donors as well as the support of our Board of Directors."

Maxey welcomed guests to the inaugural event, thanking them for their past and future support. Max, Terry, and Kelli Bringle spoke to the crowd about their time with TECH and how funding the future is important for families like theirs. Melinda Young with Bretz & Young Injury Lawyers then asked the group to join her in making a pledge or donation to support the TECH Foundation. And finally, Abby Stockebrand, Chairwoman of the TECH Foundation Board, helped Maxey recognize the 2018 Inductees. The new members inducted into the Legacy Society for the inaugural event Thursday Night are as follows:

About the TECH Foundation

The mission of the TECH Foundation is to grow and oversee the Foundation to support the work of TECH, Inc. in providing supports and services to children and adults with disabilities. Maxey said, "At TECH, we focus on creating opportunities for the people we serve to live full and productive lives through residential services, day programs such as our Adult Life Skills and Art Program as well as work opportunities in our Work Center and in the community.  The community's investment in the TECH Foundation will allow TECH the ability to provide the highest quality of supports the people we serve deserve, and our community expects. We are grateful that folks recognize the importance and the value in the work we are doing."
