Cooking Class Is In Session
The ALS had an outing to Orschelns this week to check out the chickens and the bunnies. After the pet care outing to Orschelns, several questions were asked such as:
“What came first, the chicken or the egg?”
“How many ways can you cook an egg?”
“How many eggs can a chicken lay in a day?”
“What is brunch?”
So, Billie Redd, the ALS Manager, set out to find the answers…. and cook eggs!
The ALS had their version of the “cooking show” and Billie had a fun audience. They discussed egg trivia, nutrition (lots of fresh vegetables went into our eggs), manners/settings/serving (proper etiquette at their brunch), motor skills (the chef/host of the famous cooking show does not clean up) and a whole lot of laughter! A special thanks to Billie’s sous chef, Tammy!
