We would like to congratulate all of the Special Olympics Kansas participants! The Special Olympics were this past weekend and there was a lot of excitement! Kelli, Tal, and Joey all received numerous medals!

Also, a big congrats to Kelli! She was inducted into the Special Olympics Hall of Fame! Way to go! 

The Special Olympics Kansas gives those with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to be an athlete. However, they also teach them about teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and sportsmanship while developing self-esteem, integrity, and character. They work year round with the participants to give them acceptance, inclusion, self-confidence and a healthy lifestyle.
