TECH Legacy Society Inducts Six New Members
Six new members were inducted into the TECH Legacy Society this past Thursday, February 21st. The Legacy Society was created in 2018 as a way to honor donors that have reached a giving level of $5,000 or more in their lifetime to the TECH Foundation. The inaugural event in 2018 unveiled a new Legacy Wall at the TECH Administrative Offices in Downtown Hutchinson, honoring each person or business in the Legacy Society. "We wanted a way to honor the individuals that have made the future of TECH a part of their legacy," says Lacey Mills, Director of Marketing and Development for TECH. "The Legacy Society has also given us a vehicle to raise awareness about the TECH Foundation and the importance of funding not only in the here and now but also 20, 30 and 50 years from now."
The event last Thursday included past honorees and new honorees as well as several TECH supporters and board members. Each new honoree received a framed print of "Dreamy" by TECH Artist, Kelli Bringle. The six new honorees for 2019 are:
- Suzanne Brown
- Dr. Mark Fesen
- Trudy Swint and Cindy Knox
- Orvin and Peggy Miller
- Brenda Maxey
- Anonymous Donor
