Employee Spotlight

Regina Heter

Regina Heter

DSP: Star | 4 years

What brought you to TECH?
I came to TECH by shear accident. My husband was sent to TECH by Workforce looking for a custodian's job. He explained to HR about my background in the special needs community and the next thing I knew I was working for TECH.

Do you have a special memory about working at TECH?
My best memories of TECH, so far, are the remarkable and dedicated people who have passed through my life since coming to work here. They have been an inspiration and although many have moved on, they have left a lasting impression on me.

Is there someone that is going above and beyond their call of duty here at TECH!? Nominate them for the Employee Spotlight here.

Shout Outs!

A huge shout out to Kevin for helping out at B Street while they were short staffed! He went way above and beyond in helping out everyone in the work center and to assure client service needs were meet and that contracts went out the door as expected by out customers. Kevin rocked! ~ Brenda Maxey

Shout out to Dawn Adams for her willingness to always pitch in when help is needed. When we had a client that was having a difficult time and needed to be hospitalized, and wasn't eating, Dawn went up to the hospital and personally fed the client. I am so impressed with her willingness to go the extra mile. She will take a client to an appointment at a moment's notice, sits with a client that needs to remain home, all the while keeping a positive attitude. ~ Andrea Delgado

Shout out to Don and Aurie Wornkey for picking up staff that were unable to make it in to work due to vehicle issues and winter storm issues. Thanks to both of you for all the help you give! ~ Lisa VanWey

Daniel has been diligently working nonstop at battling the crazy snow drifts. It has been one heck of a battle due to the wind replacing everything he has removed with new snow drifts about as fast as he can get it cleared. Thank you, Daniel, for all your hard work and for everything you do! Keep up the good fight. ~ Nathan Porter

I would like to shout out the ALS staff for pulling it all together when we have been short staffed! I know it isn't easy, but all of us working together to make sure the clients are taken care of and able to share a few laughs helps keep the spirits up!
~ Carie Arheart

Shout out to Christin Grounds! On her day off, and during the winter storm, took the time to ensure a co-worker, that is having vehicle issues and lives out of town, was able to make it to work and back home. Way to go Christin, a huge thank you!
~ Lisa VanWey

A huge shout out to Jim Suppes, Phil Winkel, Daniel Fairbanks, Mark Barban and Kevin Hess, for getting out extra early the morning it snowed and shoveling the sidewalks and driveways for all of our TECH houses and locations!
