Tammy has been a vital part of the TECH team for the past three years, serving as an Accounting Specialist. Behind the scenes, Tammy ensures that both employees and consumers are paid accurately and on time. A role that fills her with pride and a deep sense of purpose. “When they receive their paychecks, I feel a sense of pride knowing I helped make a difference in their lives and put smiles on their faces,” she shares.

What brought Tammy to TECH was a desire to be part of something bigger. “When I saw the opportunity to be a part of the TECH family and the impact they have in the community, I immediately applied,” she recalls. That leap of faith has paid off, as she now finds herself surrounded by supportive colleagues and meaningful connections, both in the organization and the broader community.

For Tammy, the TECH pillar of Self-Worth resonates the most. “Everyone deserves to feel valued and loved,” she says. “I feel honored to be part of an organization that has compassion for others and celebrates achievements for the people we serve.”

One of her favorite memories is from TECH’s recent Staff Appreciation Night. “To see everyone come together to celebrate and support each other was truly touching. I was able to put names to faces of staff that I don’t normally get to see.”

Outside of work, Tammy enjoys life to the fullest. Spending time with her grandkids, traveling, going to the lake, and thrift shopping. Her personal motto says it all: “Be kind; you never know the battles others are going through.”
