TECH Volunteer Spotlight

August 23, 2022

Gabe Goering, General Manager/Partner of Midway Motors, has served on the TECH Board of Operations since 2020. While Gabe and his family have been long-time supporters of the organization, he has had the opportunity to be more involved in the agency while serving as a board member.

“The organization itself is why I chose to serve on the board. I fully believe in the mission and believe our team is the reason the reason our organization is thriving. We have a clear goal to support our clients and it is understood from the CEO on down to the newest employee.”

Meet TECH Board Member, Gabe Goering!

I started volunteering with TECH almost two years ago, although we have supported the organization for 10+ years through our business. The organization itself is why I chose to serve on the board. I fully believe in the mission and believe our team is the reason the reason our organization is thriving. We have a clear goal to support our clients and it is understood from the CEO on down to the newest employee.

Personally, I’ve really enjoyed meeting the residents and their families at events. You can see differences being made and its very inspiring. Top that off with a community that supports the efforts of TECH it becomes incredibly special. The events are fun and well attended, we especially like Hops, it’s a lot of fun and is a very creative way to support TECH and downtown Hutchinson.

Volunteering in our community is important on many fronts. For my wife and I, our primary reason is to set the example for our children. Hutchinson has been a blessing for our family and the best way to show thanks is to get involved and start giving back.
