Meet TECH Volunteer, Dr. Jason Hatch!

I joined the TECH Operations Board in 2019. I have a family member who has mild/moderate disabilities and so I have an interest in the clients served by TECH. I believe that TECH blesses not only the clients, but their families and the community at large by asking each of us to think outside ourselves.

Last year, my family and I volunteered for the TECH Client Christmas party. My family really enjoyed eating with, dancing with and talking with the clients at this years’ Client Christmas Party. I’ve really enjoyed serving on the board and attending the Gala as well.

Any time we spend focusing on the needs of others is an opportunity to grow and be part of something bigger than ourselves. I’ve always had a desire to be a part of meaningful causes. Volunteering for TECH has helped me to connect with amazing individuals in the community and gain friendships with folks who are truly trying to make a difference. I love interacting with clients and realizing how much light and joy they bring into the world. I’m a better person because of my involvement with TECH.
